If you’ve booked a villa in Novalja for a week of Zrće nights, the gear question is simple: what do we play music on at the villa pre-game, by the pool in the afternoon, and on the rooftop at sunset?
Bringing a JBL travel speaker from home doesn’t cut it. Renting a club-grade PA is overkill. The middle is exactly what PRC is built for.
The default Zrće week setup
Zrće Pre-Drinks package: one JBL PartyBox 710 + a Pioneer DDJ-FLX4 controller. The PartyBox has built-in lights, runs ~6 hours on battery, has wheels so the move from pool to rooftop to inside is one trip. The FLX4 plugs into the back via cable and you’ve got a real DJ rig.
This is the most-booked package for the Pag/Novalja zone for good reason: it covers every “we want music” moment in the week except the actual nights at Aquarius/Papaya/Kalypso (which obviously have their own sound).
Add the party-prop pack
The night you’ve been planning since January deserves more than just music. Add à-la-carte to the Zrće Pre-Drinks package:
- Color smoke flares for the daylight rooftop photo moment
- Cake / bottle / handheld sparklers for the bottle service moment
- DJ Shotgun with confetti cartridges — the actual confetti gun for the drop
Customer cost: usually €80-180 added to the base rental. The consumable bits (smoke flares, sparklers, confetti) you keep what you don’t use.
Common mistakes
- Booking too small. Group of 12 will outgrow a single Bose speaker by Tuesday. Get the PartyBox.
- Booking too big. Group of 6 doesn’t need the Full Villa Rig. PartyBox + FLX4 is enough.
- Forgetting consumables. The sparklers and smoke flares are what make the Instagram. Add them at the same checkout as the gear.
When to book
3-4 weeks ahead minimum for peak season (mid-July through August), longer for Hideout weekend (late June / early July). Pag villa rentals book up fast and so does our delivery calendar.
Delivery to Pag
We drive from Split via the Pag bridge — roughly 3 hours each way. Doorstep delivery is €220 to cover the round trip, tolls and driver time. Pickup from our Split base is free if anyone in the group has a car driving up. See the Pag zone for full details.
