Hideout is what you book when you’re 23, you and 9 mates from uni want a “lads’ week” / “girls’ week” properly off the leash, and you’ve heard Croatia is the place. June 30 - July 3, 2026, Zrće Beach, Pag — four days of house, garage, UKG, bassline, and drum & bass. Predominantly British 20-somethings; the festival has been running since 2011 and basically built the modern Zrće reputation.
Headliners over the years: Skepta, Andy C, Pendulum (DJ set), Hannah Wants, Patrick Topping, Disclosure, Chase & Status, Wilkinson, Sub Focus. UK lineup, UK crowd, UK energy — and not coincidentally, UK consumer behavior: groups blow their budget on the festival ticket then realize the pre-game villa speaker is an extension cord and a phone.
That’s where we come in.
What an Hideout week actually looks like
- Day 1 (arrival): Land at Zadar, 90-min transfer to Novalja, drop bags, beach. Light pre-game. Festival opening.
- Day 2-3 (festival days): Beach until 17:00. Pre-game at the villa 19:00-22:00. Festival 22:00-06:00. Bed.
- Day 4 (closing): Closing day at the festival, return to villa for the last night.
- Day 5 (recovery + travel): Hangover. Pool. Quiet music. Wave goodbye.
The pre-game window (19:00-22:00) is your group’s chance to actually be together and properly start the night. Festival sound systems take over at 22:00.
What we rent to Hideout groups specifically
The lad-week classic — group of 10:
- Zrće Pre-Drinks package — €100/day. JBL PartyBox 710 + Pioneer DDJ-FLX4. The default Pag-week rig: built-in lights, packs into the boot. Add sparklers + smoke flares à la carte (below).
- Indoor sparkler bundle (50×) — €55 pack. The cake moment, the entrance moment, the “everyone holds a sparkler and we take the photo” moment.
- EG18 colored smoke grenade pack (4×) — €80 pack. Outdoor, pull-pin, 90-second wall of color. Pick 4 colors. The festival-entrance video on the group WhatsApp.
The bigger villa — group of 25-30:
- Upgrade the PA to the JBL PartyBox 710 — €110/day. Loudest battery we rent. Indoor at this scale loses to the outdoor sound bleed; PartyBox handles a pool deck for 30 people.
- 4× LED PAR uplight set — €95/day. Sound-activated, plug into mains, instant club lighting. Looks like the festival main room in miniature.
- MAGIC FX DJ Shotgun — €50/day. Hand-held confetti cannon. Trigger on the bass drop, get the photo, group loses minds. Refill cartridges sold separately (Confetti cartridge refill pack, €55 for 6 shots).
The serious DJ in your group: If someone in the group actually mixes, upgrade the controller:
- Pioneer DDJ-1000 — €130/day. 4-channel premium controller, the festival-equivalent unit for villa setups.
- Pioneer DDJ-REV5 — €180/day. Scratch-DJ controller, modern flagship. Worth it if your friend cuts.
Logistics — getting gear to Novalja
We deliver doorstep to every villa in Novalja, Lun, Pag Town, and the wider Pag island. €220 doorstep delivery (covers A1 from Split + Pag bridge toll + driver time). Reserve 3-4 weeks ahead for Hideout week — late June still pulls the Pag-week season hard even without the rest of the old festival calendar.
If you’re driving down anyway (rental car from Zagreb / Zadar), pickup from our Split depot is free.

Hideout 2026 vs the rest of the Zrće calendar
Heads up — the Pag festival lineup is thinner than it used to be:
- Sonus has cancelled its 2026 edition (the Noa Beach Club venues it relied on were demolished in late 2025) and aims to return in 2027 at a new Croatian-coast location.
- Fresh Island has no confirmed 2026 edition at time of writing — last clearly documented edition was June 2023.
That makes Hideout the de facto big Zrće festival of 2026. Pre-game music skews UK garage / house / a bit of D&B — if your DJ-controller-having friend is bringing a 2010s house set, perfect. Skip the trap unless you know your group.
Pre-Hideout checklist
- Book gear 3+ weeks ahead. Hideout-week sells our Pag delivery slots fast.
- Check villa contract for noise restrictions. Croatian law: amplified music at residential after 23:00 → police warning. Move loud sessions to before 22:00 if villa contract forbids late hours.
- Smoke + sparklers: outdoor only, ask villa host first. Some places strictly forbid.
- Power: check the villa has a 16A circuit on the deck. The JBL PartyBox 710 pulls real current.
