Wedding sound
Wedding sound system rental in Croatia.
You are marrying in a country you do not live in, at a venue you have seen twice, and sound is the supplier nobody thinks about until the vows are inaudible. Here is the whole audio side of a Croatian destination wedding, priced per day: a mic the back row can hear, a PA for the speeches, volume for the reception, light on the walls after sunset. Not a wedding? Start at the speaker & PA rental page.
Part one
The ceremony
Thirty to eighty guests outdoors, wind off the water, two people speaking quietly. That is a microphone problem, not a volume problem. One battery speaker by the aisle carries the music and the officiant, a lavalier keeps both hands free for the rings, a handheld covers the readings. None of it needs mains — most Croatian ceremony spots are a lawn or a stone terrace with the nearest socket fifty metres away.
Bose S1 Pro+
Loud, light, 11h on battery. The default rooftop / yacht / villa speaker.

Speeches & dinner
Move the speaker, keep the mic
The ceremony rig is the dinner rig. Carry the Bose to the head of the tables, keep the same receiver, and the best man is audible at the far end without shouting. Eleven hours of battery, no extension lead between courses.
Keep it quiet on purpose
Dinner is where people over-spec. You want music a table of eight can talk over and one mic that comes up loud when someone stands. Bringing the sub out during the starters helps nobody.
Part three
Reception & DJ sound
Once the tables are cleared, battery stops being enough. A pair of 15-inch active tops on stands covers 50 to 100 guests on a lawn or terrace; add the sub and the first dance lands. Both need mains within ten metres, so tell us where the dance floor goes. A DJ with their own decks plugs straight in — sizing table on the PA rental page.
2× Mackie Thump 215 + Stands
Budget mains-powered PA pair. Two 15-inch active speakers on stands, all cables labelled. Best value-per-decibel in the catalog.

RCF SUB 705-AS MK3
Compact 15-inch active sub. The villa-rig add-on that makes the bass actually hit. Lighter than 18-inch subs, 2-person carry.

Lighting & uplighters
Croatian venues are stone, olive trees and water, and all three look better lit from below. Uplighters on a wall or an arch do more for the photographs than anything else at this price. The wired PAR set is the cheap fixed wash; the battery set runs no cables across a lawn full of heels. Festoon overhead is the warm-white layer that reads as wedding rather than party.
4× LED PAR uplight set
Four RGBW LED PARs with stands and DMX control. The cheap way to add proper colour to a villa party.

4× battery wireless LED uplighters
Four battery, truly-wireless RGBAW+UV uplighters (ADJ Element HEX IP). No cables, place anywhere, IP-rated for outdoors, ~9h battery, IR remote. The no-cables "uplight the whole villa" set.

Where the day actually happens
Villas & private estates
Battery for the ceremony on the lawn, mains PA for the dance floor. Check the contract — Croatian noise rules bite after 11pm.
Beach clubs & waterfront restaurants
House sound covers the reception but reaches nothing at the ceremony spot. A battery speaker and a mic fill that gap without touching their system.
Forts, cloisters & stone courtyards
Hard surfaces, long reverb, one distant socket. Go small and close rather than loud, and check access — a 28kg sub does not climb a fort staircase.
Yachts & day charters
Battery only. Charter mains is off-limits and stands are a bad idea on a moving deck. One Bose S1 Pro+ and a handheld is the rig.

Technician vs dry hire
What we do
Dry hire. We deliver the gear cabled, labelled and working, show whoever is responsible how to run it, and come back for it. No crew day rate, no overtime after midnight. For most weddings — one speaker, one mic, a PA for the party — that is all anyone needs.
What we do not do
Staff your wedding. No engineer of ours at a mixer through the ceremony, no band mixing, no stage, no rigging. If your day needs that, use a production company for the crew and rent the boxes from us. Better said now than on the morning.
For planners
The things you are going to ask
-
Backup microphone
Add a wired Shure SM58 and 5m XLR at €15/day — same speaker, no signal to lose. Spare AAs ship with every wireless mic.
-
Rain and wind
Uplighters IP54, festoon IP65, speakers weather-resistant but not waterproof. Weight the stands in wind. Covers are the venue’s side, not ours.
-
Setup before guests
Ask for the day-before drop when you reserve. It counts as an extra rental day at the multi-day rate, and the gear gets tested while the venue is empty.
-
Reaching us
Mon–Sun, 9am–9pm CET in season (May–Sept), in English, usually replying within the hour. Off-season is slower, but nothing goes unread.
-
Paperwork
Card via Stripe (Apple and Google Pay) or a Revolut link, in EUR. If the venue needs a specific invoice format, ask before booking and we will tell you what we can issue.
-
Deposit
A refundable damage hold is charged with the rental and refunded within 3 business days once the gear is back and working. Actual repair cost, never a penalty.

FAQ
Wedding sound rental — common questions
Do you send a sound technician for the ceremony?
No — we are dry hire. Gear arrives cabled, labelled and tested and we show you how to run it. If your day needs someone on a mixer all afternoon, that is a production company, not us.
What if the wireless mic fails during the vows?
The Sennheiser EW-D is digital, runs ~8 hours on AAs and ships with spares. Add a wired Shure SM58 at €15/day as a plugged-in backup that cannot lose signal.
Our ceremony spot has no power. Can you still do sound?
Yes. The Bose S1 Pro+ runs 11 hours on battery with a mic input built in. For a mains PA off-grid, add an EcoFlow — a Delta 2 Max runs a Mackie Thump pair (~600W) about three hours.
How far ahead should we book wedding gear?
Much of the wedding kit is order-in at 5-7 days, and delivery outside Split wants 3-5 days on top. For July and August, book once the date and venue are fixed.
Can we have the gear delivered the day before?
Yes, and we recommend it. It counts as an extra rental day at the multi-day rate, and the gear gets tested before guests arrive rather than during the setup rush.
What if it rains or the wind picks up?
Uplighters are IP54 and festoon IP65, so light rain is fine. Speakers are weather-resistant, not waterproof, and stands need weighting in wind. Covers are the venue’s side, not ours.
Send us the running order.
Date, venue, guest count and roughly what happens when. We come back with the kit list and one price — and tell you if you do not need half of it.
