How it works
No small print.
Just the steps.
Everything you need to know about pricing, payment, damage holds, delivery, and cancellation — laid out in plain English. If something below isn’t clear, email us at [email protected] and we’ll fix it.
The flow
Three steps.
- 01
Pick gear & dates
Browse the gear catalog or pre-built packages. Every item has a real per-day price — no quote needed, no callback waiting. Pick your dates, choose a delivery zone, and we’ll show you the all-in total before you reserve.
Not sure what you need? Email us with what you’re doing (yacht, villa, Zrće week, birthday) and we’ll suggest the right setup.
Two routes from here. The fixed-price packages have a Book + Pay button and check out on the spot. Everything else — custom gear combinations, unusual dates, multi-stop charter itineraries — goes through the reservation form and comes back as an itemised quote by email: rental, delivery for your zone, and the damage hold shown as its own line so you can see what you get back. Nothing is charged while you read it, and if a line is wrong you say so and we adjust.
- 02
Pay online
Two ways to pay: card via Stripe (incl. Apple Pay / Google Pay) or Revolut payment link. EUR pricing, Croatian VAT receipts on request. Need EU bank transfer for a larger booking? Mention it in the reservation message and we’ll arrange it case-by-case.
- Under €500: pay in full when you reserve.
- €500 and over: 30% deposit on reservation, balance 7 days before your event.
Why split it? Big bookings often get made 2–3 months out and we don’t want you sitting on €2,000 charged to a card for nothing. The deposit locks the gear, the balance lands close to the event when you’ve actually got the calendar firmed up.
What a reservation does and doesn’t do. Sending the form is a request, not a confirmed booking — we check the specific units are actually free on your dates before we quote — stock is finite and in July and August the popular speakers and controllers go early. The booking is confirmed when the payment lands and we reply to say so. That reply is what you should be holding before you plan the night around it. It fixes the gear, the dates, the delivery address and the price; it does not fix a delivery time to the minute, which the driver’s route settles closer to the day.
- 03
We drop, you plug in
A real human drops the gear at your villa, yacht, Airbnb or beach. Everything is plug-and-play: cables are clearly labelled, controllers run off USB, speakers pair via Bluetooth. Most setups take 5-10 minutes once the gear is in front of you — if you’ve ever connected a phone to a Bluetooth speaker, you can do this.
What the handover actually looks like: the driver calls ahead, you meet him at the door or the gangway, the cases come out, and you power the rig up together before he leaves. That last part matters — five minutes of hearing sound come out of the speaker beats discovering at 10pm that nobody knows which cable is which. Ask your questions then. Then he drives off; there is no engineer staying on site, because we are dry hire, not an event company.
While you have it, the gear is yours to look after. Keep it out of the pool and out of direct salt spray, charge the battery units overnight so you start the second night full, don’t leave a PA on an unattended terrace, and if something stops working call us then rather than mentioning it at collection. At the end of the rental we come back and pick it all up.
Damage policy
Refundable damage hold.
How it works
When you reserve, the damage deposit listed on each item or package is charged to your card alongside the rental — it shows on your statement as a second line item.
When the driver collects the gear and confirms it’s all in working order, we refund the deposit. Usually back in your account within 3 business days, depending on your bank.
If something is broken
We charge the actual cost of repair or replacement against the hold, nothing more. If it costs €30 to replace a cable, we charge €30. We don’t use the hold to make money — it’s a deposit, not a fee.
You get the rest back, plus a clear breakdown of what was charged for what.
Delivery & handover
Real people. Real van.
Delivery
We drive from our Split base. Delivery fees vary by zone — listed transparently. Free pickup from our depot is always available. Same-day is only realistic inside Split; every other zone wants 3–5 days so the van can be routed properly, and last-minute outside that window carries a rush fee.
Handover, not setup
No on-site labour from us — you plug in, we drive off. Every kit ships cabled and labelled. Speakers pair via Bluetooth, controllers run off USB. 5–10 minutes from gear arriving to first track playing.
Collection
We come back at the agreed end time to collect. If your event runs late, message us — we can re-time within reason. Just don’t leave the gear unsupervised.
Have it packed back into its cases with the cables in the bag and the driver is gone in five minutes. Anything missing gets chased against the damage hold, and a lost power lead is a silly reason to lose part of it. Want to keep it another day? Ask before the collection slot — extensions usually work if nothing is booked on that gear after you, and overruns you didn’t agree are charged at the half-day or full-day rate.
Cancellation
If plans change.
We get it — weather, flights, friend drops out. Here’s the cancellation tiers, codified so there’s no awkward email negotiation:
Email us with the booking name to cancel. Refunds process within 3 business days at the tier above. The damage deposit refund (if already charged) drops off in the same window.
Moving your dates rather than cancelling is a different conversation and we’d rather have it early. There’s no published date-change tier because the answer is just availability: if the same gear is free on the new dates we move you, and in peak season it frequently isn’t. Tell us as soon as the flights wobble. The shorter questions — power, marinas, extensions, what to do if something fails mid-rental — are answered on the FAQ.
