FAQ
Things people ask before booking.
Where do you deliver?
Split, Šibenik, Zadar, Hvar, Pag (Novalja & Zrće), Dubrovnik and Istria. Pickup from our Split base is free if you want to save on delivery. Each delivery zone has its own doorstep price and lead time.
How far in advance should I book?
Day-of only really works in Split, and only for standard kit reserved early. Every other zone wants 3–5 days so the van can be routed. For Zrće week, Yacht Week, or anything in peak season (June–September), book 2–4 weeks ahead so we can hold gear for you.
How does payment work?
Anything under €500 you pay in full when you book. Above €500 it's a 30% deposit at booking, balance 7 days before. Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay — pick your weapon.
What about damage?
The damage deposit is charged to your card alongside the rental, as a separate line on your statement. If everything comes back in working order we refund it, usually inside 3 business days. If something's broken we take the cost of repair out of it, nothing more.
Can I cancel?
Yes. The closer you cancel to the event date, the less you get back. The exact split is in our Terms — no surprises.
Do I need any technical knowledge to use the gear?
No. Everything we rent is plug-and-play. Cables are labelled, controllers run off USB, speakers pair via Bluetooth. If you can plug a phone into a Bluetooth speaker, you can run the whole rig. Most setups take 5-10 minutes once the gear is in front of you.
Will the speakers blow my villa's power?
No. Our battery speakers run all day on a charge, no mains needed. The bigger PAs are sized for villa-grade circuits and we'll flag if you're pushing it.
What if something stops working mid-rental?
Call us the moment it happens, not at collection. We rent gear in working order and stand behind it working. We won't promise a swap-out time upfront — a spare reaching a Split villa is a different job from one reaching Novalja. Tell us early and we'll tell you straight.
What is the damage hold, and when do I get it back?
Each item and package lists its own damage deposit on its page — there’s no site-wide figure. It’s charged alongside the rental as a separate line. Once the driver collects and confirms everything works, we refund it, usually inside 3 business days. Anything broken comes off at actual repair cost, with a breakdown. Full version on how it works.
Does someone need to be there at handover?
Plan on it. Give us a name and a mobile that gets answered on the day, plus gate codes or a berth number. Delivery goes to the address you gave us, so tell us if access changes after you book. If nobody can be there, say so when you reserve and we'll agree an alternative rather than leaving a PA outside a gate.
What if the villa has no power where we want the party?
Then don’t book a mains PA. Battery speakers run all day on a charge and need nothing from the house. For mains gear where there’s no socket — far terrace, garden, beach — add a portable power station: pure sine wave, near-silent, no fuel. Send your gear list when you reserve and we’ll come back with a runtime estimate.
Can you deliver to a marina or a ferry terminal?
Marinas, yes — standard drop. Give us the marina name and berth number and we meet you at the gangway. Ferry terminals and airports we quote case by case: send the exact meeting point and time. Multi-stop charters — collect in one port, drop in another — are normal; send both legs and we quote them together.
What if my dates move?
Email us early. There’s no published date-change policy because the honest answer is availability: we move you if the same gear is free on the new dates, and in July and August it often isn’t. If the trip is off rather than moved, the published cancellation tiers apply instead.
Is there a minimum rental length, and can I extend mid-week?
No published minimum — everything is priced per day, and every item page also carries a weekly rate about 25-30% under seven day rates. Packages are the exception: their price is already 25-30% off à la carte and stays flat per day, so they carry no separate weekly rate. You take one discount or the other, never both. Extending usually works if nothing is booked on that gear after you. Message us before the collection slot: unagreed overruns are charged at the half-day or full-day rate.
Do you set the gear up for us?
No. We’re dry hire: we deliver, you plug in, we collect. No DJ, no engineer, no stage, no overhead rigging. Every kit arrives cabled and labelled and most are running inside 5-10 minutes. Need a full-service event company? We’ll say so rather than take the booking — see what we are and what we’re not.
Not answered here?
Booking, paying, handover and hand-back step by step is on how it works. Delivery prices and lead times per island and town are on the zone pages. Prices, damage deposits and what’s in the box are on each gear item and each package.
If the real question is “will this work for what I’m doing”, skip the reading and describe the event on the reservation form — group size, venue, mains power or not, whether anyone’s DJing. A wrong-sized rig is the one mistake that’s hard to fix on the night.
