Hvar split-personality island: Hvar Town for nightlife (Carpe Diem, Hula Hula, the marina parties) and Stari Grad / Jelsa for boutique villas, slower days, dinner parties. We rent into both.
What people rent on Hvar
Boutique villa weeks. Hvar’s gone upmarket — most rentals here are for renovated stone villas with terraces and pools, often with a guest count of 10–30 people and a “tasteful party” brief. Villa Sundowner (two Bose S1 Pro+ + controller) is the right call 80% of the time. For visual flourish, Birthday with the Lights adds the colour wash + smoke without taking over the space.
Yacht charters stopping over. Lots of yachts anchor in the Pakleni islands and tender into Hvar Town for the night. Many rent kit from us in Split, take it across, then return it on the way back.
Best months
Same as the rest of the coast — June and September are the smart bookings, July and August are full-on. Hvar’s nightlife runs latest in August, then drops off sharply in October.
Delivery & ferry logistics
Hvar means a ferry crossing — either Split → Stari Grad (car ferry, ~2 hrs) or Split → Hvar Town (catamaran, 1 hr, passenger only). We typically drive the car ferry to Stari Grad and bring the gear by van to your villa.
Delivery fees here include the ferry round trip. We need at least 48 hours notice to lock in a ferry slot in peak season.
