Zadar’s the understated coast city — Sea Organ at sunset, Greeting to the Sun, fewer tourists than Split, and the gateway to Kornati if you’re chartering a yacht through the national park.
What people rent in Zadar
Yacht charters into Kornati. Smaller marinas (Sukošan, Biograd), more independent skippers, quieter weeks. Yacht Sundowner for the salt-air-friendly setup.
Villa rentals along the Petrčane / Privlaka coast. Slightly slower-paced than Split or Hvar, more family-shaped bookings. The simpler battery-speaker setups dominate here — Villa Sundowner or even just a single Bose S1 Pro+.
Stags / hens that don’t want the Pag chaos. Zadar makes a great alternative — close enough to fly into (ZAD airport), quiet enough to actually hear each other, with enough bars in town for a proper night out.
Best months
Zadar’s pleasant May through September. The city itself is open year-round, but most of our rentals here are villa/coast which peak with the rest of the coast.
Delivery from Split
About 90 minutes up the A1 — manageable round trip. Doorstep delivery is €130 (the most reasonable doorstep zone outside our Split home base). Free pickup from Split if you’d rather skip the fee. Pickup at end of rental same logistics.
