The Z-1000X MK3 is the more compact sibling of our Antari Z-1500 smoke machine. 1000W vs 1500W output (still plenty for any villa room), smaller footprint, easier to position out of the way. Ideal where the bigger Z-1500 is overkill.

What to put it with

Smoke is a multiplier on lighting, not a thing you rent on its own:

When something else is better

  • Large terrace, marquee or an open-air where output matters — the 1.7-litre tank and 283 m³/min here will get lost. Step up to the Z-1500 (6-litre tank, 566 m³/min).
  • You have beams or lasers running all night — a fazer beats a smoke machine for that. The Antari Z-350 Fazer holds an even haze instead of cycling between “thick cloud” and “nothing”.

Common questions about Antari Z-1000X MK3 smoke machine

Will it set off the smoke alarm?

Yes, very likely indoors. Either disable smoke alarms before firing (then re-enable!), or use outdoors only. ALWAYS ask the villa host first — alarm fees can run €100+ if the fire service is called.

How much fluid is included?

Enough for a full evening at moderate output. Heavy continuous use will burn through it faster — order extra fluid as an add-on if you plan to run smoke all night.

Can I use smoke on a yacht?

Outdoor smoke / haze is fine on yacht decks. Watch the wind direction — smoke blowing back into the saloon is a fast way to clear out the party.

Sparklers / smoke grenades — are these legal?

Indoor sparklers and EG18 cool-smoke grenades are EU-compliant consumer pyro / smoke and legal across Croatia for personal event use. They are sold to you, not rented.

How does delivery work?

Free pickup from our depot near Split. Doorstep van delivery is priced per zone: €100 in Split, €220 Šibenik, €260 Zadar, €360 Hvar (ferry both ways included), €440 Pag/Zrće, €520 Dubrovnik, €560 Istria. See /zones/ for the full breakdown.

How fast can you deliver?

Same-day in Split if you reserve before 11am. Other zones: 3-5 days lead time so we can route the van efficiently. Last-minute is doable but adds a rush fee.

What if I damage the gear?

Each rental has a refundable damage hold, charged with the rental and refunded once the gear is back and working. We charge actual repair or replacement cost — not flat penalties. Normal wear-and-tear isn't damage.

How do I pay?

Card via Stripe (Apple Pay / Google Pay too) or Revolut payment link. EUR pricing. VAT receipts on request. EU bank transfer available case-by-case for larger bookings — ask when you reserve.
