- 4× LED PAR uplights — battery-powered, music-react mode out of the box. Place them where you want colour, flip the switch.
- Antari smoke machine — plug into mains, fluid pre-filled, point it where you want the haze
- Pioneer DDJ-FLX4 controller — USB into your laptop, RCA out to the speakers, done. Works with Rekordbox, Serato or djay Pro.
Total setup: 10-15 minutes the first time, 5 minutes after that. We come back to collect at end of rental.
The two add-ons people ask for after they’ve seen it
The cake moment is where this package earns its money, and two items make it land harder. A Cameo Wookie 200 animation laser can throw shapes and text onto a wall — the birthday name appearing at the moment the candles come out is the single most-requested effect we get asked about — and it only works because the smoke machine is already in the kit giving the beams something to sit in. A 30cm mirror ball on a battery motor is the opposite kind of upgrade: no cables, hangs off any beam or hook, one of the LED PARs aimed at it, and the room turns kitsch-classic for the price of a round of drinks.
Two swaps worth knowing about. If the villa room is small, ask for the compact Antari Z-1000X MK3 instead of the Z-1500 — same haze, smaller box, easier to keep out of the way of the food. And if the celebration is a daytime one, drop the smoke entirely: it does nothing in sunlight. The Eurolite B-200 bubble machine is the daylight version of the same trick, and it’s what we send for kids’ birthdays and lawn parties.
