Love International is the festival music-heads book before any other. Seven days at The Garden Resort in Tisno (July 8-14, 2026), ~5,000 attendees, an extremely curated lineup that lives somewhere between Glastonbury, Field Day, and a long weekend of fictional ideal house music. Past programming has crossed Theo Parrish, Floating Points, Hunee, Antal, Sassy J, Helena Hauff, Roman Flügel, Move D, and dozens of less-streamed DJs who define a particular school of house / disco / leftfield / balearic taste. The festival’s lineage runs back to The Garden Festival (Petrčane / Tisno, 2006-2015); Love International picked up the venue and the ethos in 2016 and is now in its second decade.
It’s the credible Croatian holiday — same Garden Resort that hosts Defected, but earlier in summer and a different, broader programming style. Three settings: The Olive Grove main outdoor stage, Barbarella’s (the open-air club, sets running 22:00-06:00), and the boat parties (Argonaughty II on the Adriatic — 4-hour daytime sessions you can’t replicate anywhere else).
What gear works for a Love International week
This is NOT a “lads’ week” festival. The crowd is older (mid-20s to 40s), the pre-games are quieter, and the music skews towards “groove all afternoon” rather than “build hype before the drop.”
The chill villa kit — group of 6-12:
- Bose S1 Pro+ — €85/day. The default. Battery PA, plug-and-play, smooth for the daytime patio session.
- Pioneer DDJ-FLX4 — €65/day. Most groups have someone who DJs in their bedroom — this lets them do a proper villa set into a real speaker.
- Villa Sundowner package — €150/day. Above two + a wireless mic, bundled.
Boat party day:
If you’re booking a private boat for one of the Adriatic sessions, you need battery-only gear that survives salt + bouncing wakes.

- JBL EON ONE Compact — €65/day. Smaller form factor, lower cost, still real audio quality. Plenty for a 10-15 person dinner + post-dinner deck session.

Pre-Love checklist
- Reserve 3+ weeks ahead. Love International’s July 8-14 window overlaps Hideout’s late-June tail and runs straight into Ultra Europe weekend (July 10-12, Split) — all three pull our van schedule. Don’t leave it last-minute.
- Boat day? Reserve the Yacht Sundowner package separately — different gear, different drop-off (marina vs villa). We can do both for the same trip.
- Villa noise contract. Most Tisno-area villas are house-music-friendly (the festival has been running for years; villas know the routine) but always check.
- Power for the daytime sessions. Battery PAs are fine. If you’re going to chain 8+ hours of music, plan a midday recharge in dinner break.
If you’re doing Love + Defected (or Love + Suncebeat)
The Garden Resort hosts three festivals across July 2026: Love International (July 8-14), Defected Croatia (July 29 - Aug 2, the 10th and final edition), Suncebeat (early August). Each is a separate ~5-7 day commitment. Few groups do back-to-back (it’s expensive) but if you do, reserve each block’s gear independently.
